Abstract

Se describe un sistema, método y dispositivo para la conservación de sangre y sus componentes. El sistema y procedimiento incluyen en general un dispositivo que tiene un cuerpo que define una cámara, estando la cámara configurada para alojar al menos una bolsa que contiene sangre o sus componentes, siendo la bolsa permeable a un gas, por ejemplo, xenón. Una tapa es capaz de ser sellada herméticamente contra el cuerpo. Una entrada está en comunicación de fluido con la cámara. Un indicador de presión está configurado para indicar la presión en la cámara, incluyendo el indicador de presión un conducto que contiene un líquido. Una porción del conducto es transparente de manera que el líquido es visible. Se provee una fuente de gas presurizado, tal como xenón, para suministrar el gas presurizado a la cámara.
