Abstract
Un aparato y método para realizar la inspección de un contenedor (C) que tiene una boca (M), y una base (B) con un fondo cónico (P) opuesto a la boca del contenedor. La energía lumínica se dirige dentro del contenedor y a través de la boca del contenedor, utilizando al menos una fuente lumínica (12a o 12b o 12c), y se sensa la energía lumínica transmitida a través de la boca del contenedor. La al menos una fuente lumínica está dispuesta en al menos un lado del contenedor de manera que la energía lumínica esté dirigida a través de una pared lateral (W) del contenedor y sobre el fondo cónico de la base del contenedor de manera que al menos una porción de la energía lumínica se refleje desde el fondo cónico para extenderse a través de la boca del contenedor hasta el sensor de luz.
