Abstract
Viga maestra modular multifuncional construida en acero estructural o material ligero y resistente equivalente, con forma de “U”, está dotada de perforaciones en todo su largo, tanto en el dorso (1 y 1-a), como en los costados (2 y 2-a) y en los bordes (3 y 3-a), acoplándose las mencionadas vigas maestras unas en otras, a través del dorso, costados o bordes, en cualquier ángulo, efectuándose la fijación a través de tornillos introducidos en las citadas perforaciones y dispensando cualquier soldadura. Los costados y los bordes poseen pliegues (2-b y 3-b), adecuados para facilitar el encaje y fijación de las vigas maestras. La viga maestra puede acoplarse por superposición del dorso, por unión de los bordes, por unión de los costados, por unión de costados con bordes, bordes o costados con dorso, permitiendo el acoplamiento directo o invertido y tiene la posibilidad de asumir, según se desee, el papel de viga, pilar, tirante o travesaño, estando especialmente indicada en la construcción de vanos de grandes dimensiones en pabellones o construcciones similares
