Abstract
Un método para calcular vectores de movimiento que obtiene mayor velocidad de compresión, que incluye: un paso de selección para seleccionar uno de al menos un vector de movimiento de referencia de un bloque de referencia; y un paso de cálculo para calcular un vector de movimiento de un bloque actual que debe procesarse, usando el vector de movimiento de referencia seleccionado en el paso de selección y, en el paso de selección, cuando el bloque de referencia tiene dos vectores de movimiento de referencia (S121), se selecciona uno de los dos vectores de movimiento de referencia (S123, S124) en base a si el bloque de referencia está localizado antes o después del bloque actual en el orden temporal de presentación, y cuando el bloque de referencia tiene sólo un vector de movimiento de referencia (S125, S127), se selecciona el vector de movimiento de referencia (S126, S128).
