Abstract

In some embodiments, the assays can be based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant construct, inserted into the soybean genome, and on the genomic sequences that flank the insertion site. The present application also relates in part to the TaqMan PCR assays as an evaluation criterion of Event 1606 expressed by AAD-12 in soybeans. Some embodiments are directed to assays that are capable of a high performance cygosity analysis. These and other related procedures can be used to uniquely identify the cygosity of improvement soybean lines that comprise the event of the present application. The kits and conditions useful for conducting these tests are also provided.
