Abstract

Estos compuestos son útiles como adyuvantes en formulaciones agroquímicas, en particular formulaciones combinadas de herbicidas que tienen diferentes efectos de control de malezas, notablemente de herbicida no selectivo y herbicida selectivo; en particular herbicida selectivo, en particular herbicida selectivo de hojas anchas, y graminicida; y graminicida selectivo y herbicida no selectivo, especialmente una combinación de un herbicida no selectivo soluble en agua, del tipo glifosato con un herbicida selectivo tipo clethodim (graminicida), en particular para reducir o eliminar el antagonismo entre diferentes tipos de herbicida. Las formulaciones que incluyen dichas combinaciones de herbicida y los compuestos adyuvantes son particularmente útiles en el control de malezas incluyendo maíz voluntario resistente al glifosato en soja resistente al glifosato cultivada con posterioridad.Reivindicación 1: Un compuesto o mezcla de compuestos que es/son mono-éster(es) de ácido graso etoxilado de sorbitano en los cuales la longitud de la cadena de carbono del ácido graso es desde 8 hasta 14 y el grado general de etoxilación es en promedio desde 7 a 16. Reivindicación 2: Un compuesto o mezcla de compuestos de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, donde el(los) éster(es) son compuestos de fórmula: Sorb-(EOn1R1)(EOn2R2)(EOn3R3)(EOn4R4) en donde; i) Sorb representa un residuo obtenido por la eliminación de cuatro átomos de H de hidroxilo del sorbitano; ii) EO representa un residuo de etilenoxi; iii) n1, n2, n3, y n4 cada uno en forma independiente representan valores promedio desde 0 hasta 10; iv) el total n1 + n2 + n3 + n4 tiene un valor promedio desde 7 a 16; y v) R1, R2, R3, y R4 cada uno en forma independiente representa H o un grupo acilo -C(O)-R5, donde R5 es un hidrocarbonilo C7-13.
