Abstract
Técnicas para iniciar y, si se desea, modificar los servicios de ubicacion para Localizacion Segura en el Piano de Usuario (SUPL) y otras arquitecturas de ubicacion. Para iniciar el servicio SUPL, una plataforma de localizacion SUPL (SLP) transmite un mensaje de sesion inicial SUPL aplicable a cualquier solicitud de servicio a un terminal habilitado para SUPL (SET) y recibe en respuesta las capacidades de servicio del SET. La SLP selecciona y solicita servicio del SET consistente con las capacidades de servicio del SET. El SET puede iniciar el servicio SUPL solicitando las capacidades del servicio de la SLP. El SET selecciona y solicita servicio de la SLP que es consistente con las capacidades de servicio recibidas de la SLP. El SET y la SLP se comunican para determinar un estimado de posicion para el SET. El servicio puede ser modificado antes o mientras se comunica entre el SET y la SLP para determinar un estimado de posicion para el SET.
