Abstract

Un extractor de protesis femoral para operaciones de revision y método de extraccion donde se hace necesario remover protesis danadas o de funcionamiento deficiente que se encuentran ya cementadas u osteointegradas en un hueso, tal como el fémur, en donde el extractor comprende una varilla extractora que incluye una masa para generar impactos de extraccion sobre un tornillo de anclaje que se fija a una porcion de la protesis a extraer o sobre una boquilla de extraccion a fijarse sobre una porcion accesible de dicha protesis a remover, siendo dicho tornillo de anclaje fijable al vástago extractor por medio de un conector de retencion que a su vez se fija removiblemente a dicha varilla extractora.
