Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para optimizar el flujo de paquetes en una red. Una conexion interredes incluye multiples redes, y cada red tiene multiples nodos no enrutadores y al menos un nodo enrutador. El nodo no enrutador de una primera red puede configurarse para que realice el control de congestion. El nodo no enrutador envía un paquete de solicitud a un nodo de una segunda red. El valor de un contador de paquetes en vuelo asociado con la red se ajusta cuando el paquete de solicitud se envía al segundo nodo de la red y cuando un paquete de respuesta se recibe del segundo nodo de la red. El nodo no enrutador determina si puede enviarse otro paquete de solicitud a otra red de la conexion interredes en base a un valor del contador de paquetes en vuelo.
