Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un dispositivo alimentado por gravedad para la purificacion del agua, el cual comprende una unidad biocida, un deposito. que está separado por una pared de un depurador y ubicado adyacente a éste, que comprende un medio capaz de depurar al citado biocida o a los subproductos del mismo del agua y una cámara dispensadora, interconectada para definir una trayectoria de flujo, en el cual el biocida se agrega mediante una unidad biocida al agua que está en el deposito, la cual fluye sobre la pared, ingresa al depurador y que egresa por una salida hacia la cámara dispensadora, y la salida está ubicada de manera tal que al menos el 10% en peso de dicho medio esté por debajo del nivel más bajo de la salida, y la pared se extiende por encima del nivel más alto del medio y por encima del nivel más bajo de la salida.
