Abstract
Un método y un aparato brindan el control de senales de comunicaciones inalámbricas en un recurso de canal dedicado mejorado (E-DCH) mientras opera en el estado CELDA_FACH con un identificador temporario de red radioeléctrica E-DCH (E-RNTI) asignado. Se efectua la determinacion de que un temporizador de actualizacion de celda periodica ha caducado. En respuesta a la caducidad del temporizador de actualizacion de celda periodica, se determina si la WTRU tiene un recurso E-DCH asignado. Si la WTRU tiene un recurso E-DCH asignado, el temporizador de actualizacion de celda periodica es reiniciado sin realizar una actualizacion de celda periodica.
