Abstract

Se propone un proceso para la produccion de un fertilizante organo-mineral a partir de vinaza, torta de filtro y generalmente cenizas de caldera, como subproductos de la fabricacion de azucar y/o alcohol, y complementado opcionalmente con fuentes fertilizantes compuestas de macronutrientes (primarios y secundarios) y micronutrientes. El proceso comprende, en una de las formas preferidas de la solicitud, las etapas de concentracion de la vinaza hasta alrededor de 65% de solidos (p/p); mezcla y disolucion de los elementos fertilizantes en la vinaza concentrada; mezcla y secado de la torta de filtro y cenizas en una corriente de gas caliente obtenida a través de la combustion de bagazo o paja; impregnacion de esta mezcla seca con la mezcla de vinaza concentrada y los agentes fertilizantes adicionados; y, finalmente, secado y granulacion de la mezcla formulada final. El producto final es un solido granular que contiene N, P, K, Ca, S, Mg y micronutrientes de acuerdo con la formulacion programada previamente. En la otra forma se efectua el mismo proceso pero no se agregan los elementos fertilizantes.
