Abstract

Composiciones para uso oftálmico que comprende gemifloxacina, un componente polimérico y eventuales agentes buffer, isotonizantes y conservantes. Las composiciones muestran una elevada afinidad hacia compartimientos oculares específicos permitiendo efectuar, con un amplio margen de seguridad, una eficaz terapia antibiotica en los diversos sectores oculares. Se usa, por ejemplo, en el tratamiento o prevencion de enfermedades de la superficie ocular y/o del sector interno del ojo, en queratitis y otros.
