Abstract
En una planta de desalinizacion de osmosis inversa varias membranas se disponen extremo-a-extremo en una cubierta exterior cilíndrica. Cada membrana comprende una camisa, una canería para el percolado que pasa centralmente a través de la camisa, una pluralidad de hojas de material permeable enrolladas alrededor de la canería y contenidas dentro de la camisa y una placa con aberturas en cada extremo de la camisa. De acuerdo con la presente la placa distribuidora de flujo (10) en el extremo de entrada de cada membrana es un distribuidor de flujo y tiene una pluralidad de perforaciones (30.1, 30.2, etc.) a través de ella desde una cara delantera (12) hacia una cara posterior. La cara delantera tiene un área rebajada (20) que está desplazada hacia atrás del resto de la cara delantera (12). Las entradas a, por lo menos, algunas de las perforaciones (30.1, 30.2, etc.) están dentro del área rebajada.
