Abstract

El mecanismo propuesto es del tipo aplicable en compresores de piston alternativo que incluyen al menos dos cilindros gemelos enfrentados u opuestos en cada uno de los cuales se aloja un juego de piston y biela del tipo tradicional, siendo ambos pistones impulsados por el mismo mecanismo impulsor el cual a su vez es impulsado por un cigüenal acoplado a un motor. El conjunto está además montado en un chasis y cubierto por una carcasa. Dicho mecanismo comprende un alojamiento paralelepipédico definido por dos tapas laterales en cada una de las cuales está vinculado el extremo de la antes aludida biela y a dichas tapas se vincula en forma solidaria una pieza impulsora que está a su vez vinculada a los contrapesos del cigüenal. De esa forma cuando el cigüenal gira provoca el desplazamiento ascendente-descendente y al mismo tiempo horizontal lineal de dicha pieza impulsora.
