Abstract

Se divulgan un método y un aparato para proveer y utilizar notificacion de envío de paquetes de control de enlace radioeléctrico (RLC) y control de acceso al medio (MAC). Una entidad MAC rastrea un estado de envío de una unidad de datos de protocolo(PDU) MAC y envía una notificacion de envío de unidad de datos de servicio (SDU) MAC a una entidad RLC y/o a una capa superior tras la ocurrencia de un evento de activacion. El evento de activacion puede ser la caducidad de un temporizador, unadecision de descartado de paquete, la reinicializacion MAC, el reestablecimiento MAC, o una peticion desde la capa superior. La entidad RLC también puede rastrear un estado de envío de una unidad de datos de servicio (SDU) RLC y enviar unanotificacion de envío RLC a la capa superior. Una capa superior que incluye una entidad de compresion de encabezamiento puede ajustar un parámetro de comprension de encabezamiento en base a la notificacion de envío RLC o la notificacion de envíoMAC. La notificacion de envío RLC se puede utilizar para transferencia sin pérdidas. La retransmision se puede llevar a cabo en la capa superior en base a la notificacion de envío RLC o notificacion de envío MAC.
