Abstract
Una disposicion para usar en un sistema de alarma de seguridad incluye fuentes de alimentacion eléctrica primarias y secundarias y un convertidor de tension. La fuente de alimentacion eléctrica primaria provee alimentacion eléctrica a un circuito deanunciadores de alarma de un sistema de alarma. El convertidor de tension está acoplado entre la batería y el circuito de anunciadores de alarma del sistema de alarma,y está configurado para generar una tension de corriente continua regulada a partir de una tension de salida generada por la segunda fuente de alimentacion eléctrica. En general, la fuente de alimentacion eléctrica secundaria se emplea cuando lafuente de alimentacion eléctrica primaria no se encuentra disponible o no funciona por alguna otra causa. Sin embargo, la fuente de alimentacion eléctrica secundaria también puede ser empleada en otras circunstancias.
