Se proporciona una composicion de control de plagas y enfermedad que muestra un efecto frente a multiples patogenos de enfermedad e insectos de plagas mediante su aplicacion a semillas de plantas, y cuya toxicidad para mamíferos y peces esextremadamente baja, también se proporciona un método de prevencion del dano producido por plagas y enfermedad usando tal composicion. La composicion de la presente incluye principios activos de etofenprox como compuesto insecticida, y un compuestodesinfectante seleccionado del grupo que consisten en flusulfamida, himexazol, simeconazol y pentiopirad.
