Abstract

A dressing (1) usable as a temporary cover for the treatment of wounds characterized in that it comprises: a layer that contacts the affected area (4), which is a polyester fiber fabric modified in its transverse section and openwork harmonic ligament fabric; a set of inner layers comprising at least three layers (5, 5 ', 5' ') superimposed of a nonwoven or low density geotextile fiber composed of polyester fibers and cellulose fibers; and an outer layer (9) of a spiked microfiber polyester fabric. A process for manufacturing a dressing (1) usable as a temporary cover for the treatment of wounds according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: a) arranging a layer (4) of polyester fabric on a flat surface; b) superimposing the inner layers (5, 5 ', 5' ') of a nonwoven or low density geotextile fiber composed of polyester fibers and cellulose fibers; c) drill or cut vertically to the set of layers formed in b); d) disposing an outer layer (9) of a spiked microfiber polyester fabric; and e) cut the set of layers obtained in d) to obtain the individual dressings.
