Abstract

Una aleacion de acero para herramientas que desprenden viruta. Para obtener una fina estructura de solidificacion así como una buena maleabilidad en caliente del bloque y generar de manera economica a partir del mismo una materia prima para herramientas con una alta aceptacion de dureza y alta inalterabilidad de revenido, se prevé segun la invencion una aleacion de acero, que en lo sustancial se compone de los elementos a razon de los % en peso de: C de 0,76 hasta 0,89; Si de 0,41 hasta 0.59; Mn de 0,15 hasta 0,39; Cr de 3,60 hasta 4,60: Mo de 2,00 hasta 3,15; W de ,50 hasta 2,70; V de 0,80 hasta el 1,49; Al de 0,60 hasta 1,40; P máx. 0,03; S de 0,001 hasta 0,30; N de 0,01; y Fe así como elementos de impurezas a modo de resto.
