Abstract

Una composicion de microesferas biodegradables para la entrega mediante liberacion prolongada y controlada de por lo menos un agente biologicamente activo in vivo, proporciona microesferas preparadas con copolímeros anfifílicos, injertados o en forma de estrella, en bloque, hechos de segmento/s de poli(N-vinil-2-pirrolidona) y segmento/s biodegradable/s, las microesferas incorporan por lo menos un agente biologicamente activo como por ejemplo, simvastatina y se adaptan para la entrega controlada del agente activo a un mamífero. Se incorporan agentes biologicamente activos de escasa solubilidad en agua en las microesferas mediante un método de emulsion simple. Se incorporan agentes hidrofílicos biologicamente activos en las microesferas mediante un método de emulsion doble.
