Abstract
Conjunto de rueda libre para una pala mecánica que posee un conjunto de banda de rodamiento flexible. En una realizacion, el conjunto de rueda libre comprende un engranaje de rueda libre asociado operativamente con el conjunto de banda de rodamiento; un manguito; un eje, juegos de ranuras sobre el eje y sobre el manguito dimensionado para acople, y conectores en los extremos del eje; al menos un pedestal forma un diámetro interno pasante; al menos un buje dispuesto dentro del al menos un pedestal; y al menos un dispositivo de retencion para evtar que el eje se salga del pedestal. Se revela un método para reacondicionar una pala mecánica con un conjunto de rueda libre existente. En una realizacion, el método comprende posicionar al menos un buje dentro de un diámetro interno del al menos un pedestal; fijar un eje intermedio y un engranaje de rueda libre en forma conjunta; y colocar el eje intermedio dentro del al menos un buje.
