Abstract
Dispositivo encendedor que tiene un restrictor de flujo y métodos asociados para elaborar y evaluar dicho dispositivo encendedor y restrictor de flujo. El restrictor de flujo puede estar formado por un miembro poroso para lograr una altura de llama sustancialmente fija o variable. El restrictor de flujo puede ser evaluado antes o después del ensamblaje en el alojamiento del encendedor haciendo pasar un líquido no combustible a través del mismo. La velocidad de flujo del líquido no combustible se puede correlacionar con la velocidad de flujo de un líquido combustible a través del restrictor de flujo para aproximar la altura de llama resultante de un encendedor que contiene dicho restrictor de flujo. El restrictor de flujo también puede ser evaluado haciendo pasar un líquido combustible a través del mismo antes de ensamblar dicho restrictor de flujo en el alojamiento del encendedor. De esta manera, es posible evaluar los restrictores de flujo y los correspondientes dispositivos encendedores sin introducir los líquidos combustibles en dichos dispositivos encendedores antes del envío. Además, se puede aplicar vacío al tanque de combustible del encendedor antes del envío.
