Abstract

Un sistema de paredes resistentes al esfuerzo de corte que incluye miembros de bastidores metálicos verticales, por ejemplo viguetas en C, viguetas en U, viguetas en red abierta u otros sistemas de bastidores metálicos que sustentan un panel SCP liviano, reforzado y dimensionalmente estable. El sistema de paredes resistentes al esfuerzo de corte es no combustible, durable en contacto con agua, resistente al moho y a la putrefaccion, inatacable por termitas y apto para resistir cargas de corte iguales o superiores a las cargas de corte provistas por paneles de madera contrachapada o de placa de fibras orientadas. Los paneles emplean una o más capas de una fase continua resultante del curado de una mezcla acuosa de aglomerante inorgánico, por ejemplo, alfa hemihidrato de sulfato de calcio, cemento hidráulico un material puzolánico activo y cal. La fase continua se refuerza con fibras de vidrio y contienen partículas de agregado liviano, por ejemplo microesferas cerámicas.
