Abstract
Una estacion base selecciona y asigna segmentos en enlace ascendente a terminales inalámbricos específicos. La estacion base estima niveles potenciales de interferencia del sistema, selecciona, asigna, y transmite un valor del indicador de velocidad máxima en enlace ascendente a un terminal inalámbrico que indica la velocidad máxima de datos en enlace ascendente que tiene permitido utilizar el terminal inalámbrico. El terminal inalámbrico recibe el indicador de velocidad máxima de datos y selecciona una velocidad de datos en enlace ascendente a utilizar que es menor o igual al nivel del indicador de velocidad máxima de datos. La seleccion incluye la consideracion de cantidad de datos, importancia de los datos, calidad del canal de comunicacion, cambios que afectan la informacion del canal y/o potencia. El terminal inalámbrico codifica la informacion indicativa de la velocidad seleccionada utilizada con los datos/informacion del usuario a ser transmitidos al colocar energía adicional en un subconjunto de las senales en enlace ascendente. La estacion base recibe las senales en enlace ascendente que incluyen los datos/informacion del usuario y la velocidad de datos. La estacion base extrae la velocidad de datos utilizada y utiliza la velocidad de datos para demodular y decodificar los datos/informacion del usuario en enlace ascendente.
