Abstract

Planta transgénica que comprende un vector de transformacion vegetal que comprende una secuencia de nucleotidos que codifica o es complementaria a una secuencia que codifica un polipéptido HI0128.4 que comprende la secuencia de aminoácidos de SEQ ID NO: 2, o uno de sus ortologos, por el cual la planta transgénica posee un fenotipo con alto contenido de aceite respecto de plantas control. Dicha planta transgénica se selecciona del grupo que consiste de semillas de colza, soja, maíz, girasol, algodon, cacao, cártamo, palmera de aceite, palmera cocotera, lino, ricino y maní. Método para producir aceite que comprende el cultivo de dicha planta transgénica y la recuperacion de aceite de dicha planta. Método para producir un fenotipo con alto contenido de aceite de aceite en una planta. La planta obtenida por dicho método. Método para generar una planta con un fenotipo con alto contenido de aceite. Nutriente, harina, alimento o semilla que comprende un polipéptido codificado por la secuencia de ácidos nucleicos de acuerdo a la SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, o uno de sus ortologos.
