Abstract

Un método y aparato para moldear por compresion artículos plásticos que incluye en una realizacion una base, una torreta que tiene un cuerpo principal anular definido por lo menos en parte por lo menos por dos secciones llevadas por la base, una pluralidad de pares coaccionantes de herramientas de moldeo montadas en la torreta incluyendo cada par de herramientas de moldeo un primer accionador que lleva una primera seccion de molde y un segundo accionador que lleva una segunda seccion de molde que con la primera seccion de molde define por lo menos una parte en una cavidad de molde en la que el artículo plástico es formado. Por lo menos uno del primer accionador y el segundo accionador es movible en relacion al otro accionador a una posicion cerrada para formar una carga plástica en un artículo plástico en la cavidad de molde, y a una posicion abierta en la que el primer accionador y el segundo accionador están espaciados entre sí para permitir que el artículo formado sea removido de la cavidad del molde y una nueva carga de material plástico sea proporcionada a una de la primera seccion de molde y la segunda seccion de molde. el mecanismo de accionamiento está acoplado a la torreta para hacer girar la torreta en relacion a la base.
