Abstract

Un método para generar una lista de resultados de busqueda presentado por un buscador que comprende: a) mantener una base de datos de listados de resultados de busqueda estando cada listado asociado con un anunciante; i) una ubicacion de red u otra informacion de contacto, ii) por lo menos, un término de busqueda y iii) un monto de oferta del anunciante que se puede modificar por comparacion entre una ubicacion geográfica especificada por el buscador y los atributos de ubicacion geográfica especificados por el anunciante; b) recibir un pedido de busqueda de un buscador; c) identificar los listados de busqueda con términos de busqueda que generan una coincidencia con los pedidos de busqueda; d) ordenar los listados de busqueda identificados en una lista de resultados de busqueda de acuerdo con un algoritmo aplicado a cada listados de busqueda que incluye un componente variable de ubicacion cuyo valor depende de los algoritmos de los atributos de ubicacion geográfica especificados por el anunciante en comparacion con una ubicacion indicada por el buscador; e) recibir un pedido de un buscador para recuperar informacion asociada con un listado de busqueda en la lista de resultados de busqueda generada en el paso d); y d) grabar el pedido de recuperacion que incluye informacion de identificacion de cuenta correspondiente al monto de la oferta del anunciante para permitir el mantenimiento de registros precisos de cuenta de anunciantes.
