Abstract

A sub-arrangement of communications incorporated into a DSS network of terrestrial-satellite communications, an IRD for use with the sub-provision and a method for sending information to an observation device through the sub-provision. The provision is used to provide information, typically data on Web content, to end users using the user's low-speed IRD port, thereby eliminating the need for a telephone line or a connection to dedicated ISPs, to provide internet access.
