Abstract

Se presentan métodos y composiciones para sellar una zona subterránea penetrada por un pozo, donde las composiciones de cemento son una mezcla de por lo menos un material cementicio, una emulsion polimérica que consiste en por lo menos un monomero polar y por lo menos un monomero reforzador de la elasticidad, y un fluido mezclador. Dichas composiciones de cemento son colocados en las zonas subterráneas, donde se las deja fraguar. Dichos métodos confieren propiedades mecánicas favorables tales como modulo de Young, resistencia a la compresion y resistencia a la traccion a las composiciones de cemento una vez fraguadas.
