Abstract
La presente describe métodos novedosos para reducir el azufre en la gasolina con aditivos de compuestos tipo hidrotalcita, compuestos tipo hidrotalcita calcinados y/o soluciones solidas de oxidos metálicos mixtos. Los aditivos pueden contener adicionalmente de forma opcional uno o más oxidantes metálicos o soportes. La presente también se dirige a métodos para reducir el azufre en la gasolina que comprenden poner en contacto una reserva de alimentacion para craqueo catalítico con un compuesto de oxidos metálicos mixtos que contiene magnesio y aluminio y posee un patron de difraccion de rayos X que presenta al menos una reflexion en una posicion de pico dos Theta alrededor de 43 grados y alrededor de 62, en donde la razon entre magnesio y aluminio en el compuesto está entre alrededor de 1:1 y alrededor de 10:1.This discloses novel methods for reducing sulfur in gasoline with additives of hydrotalcite-like compounds, calcined hydrotalcite-type compounds and / or solid solutions of mixed metal oxides. The additives may additionally contain one or more metal oxidizers or supports. This is also directed to methods to reduce sulfur in gasoline that comprise contacting a feed pool for catalytic cracking with a compound of mixed metal oxides containing magnesium and aluminum and possessing an X-ray diffraction pattern that presents the minus a reflection in a two-theta peak position around 43 degrees and around 62, where the ratio between magnesium and aluminum in the compound is between about 1: 1 and about 10: 1.
