Abstract
Un método y aparato para validar el factor de calibración de caudal de un caudalímetro de Coriolis. De acuerdo con una primera realización, una densidad de material mejorada es obtenida midiendo la densidad del material cuando la temperatura del material es igual a una temperatura de referencia predeterminada. De acuerdo con una segunda realización, una base de datos preprogramada almacena relaciones de densidad/temperatura. Información de densidad mejorada es obtenida midiendo la densidad y la temperatura del material, aplicando la información de densidad/temperatura medida proveniente de la base de datos, y obteniendo información de densidad compensada para una temperatura de referencia predeterminada. La información de densidad mejorada obtenida para ambas realizaciones no es afectada por cambios en la temperatura y es utilizada para validar el factor de calibración de caudal. La compensación de factor de calibración de caudal para cambios en la presión y cambios en la composición de material se obtiene de una manera similar.
