Abstract
La presente se refiere a un equipo para la concentración de jugo de tomate. Tal equipo prevé la utilización de un evaporador (1) de película descendente, de tipo conocido, con un revestimiento externo (2) que encierra a un fajo de tubos verticales (3) divididos en una pluralidad de sectores (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) en los cuales el jugo de tomate circula en sucesión, a la cual está combinado un intercambiador de calor (7), de tipo conocido, que está dispuesto fuera del evaporador (1) y está dividido en una pluralidad de sectores (7a, 7b, 7c) en cada uno de los cuales circula, y se calienta, el jugo de tomate que sale de un sector de tubos (3a, 3b, 3c) del evaporador antes de ser introducido en el sector siguiente; además comprende un compresor (8), de tipo conocido, que aspira vapor desde una zona de fondo o cámara de separación (5a) del evaporador, lo comprime y lo introduce nuevamente en la parte central (1a) del evaporador, accionado por una turbina a gas (9), de tipo conocido y accionado por vapor vivo proveniente de una caldera (10), cuyo vapor de descarga constituye el fluido de calentamiento necesario para el funcionamiento del equipo.
