Abstract

This further relates to a process for the production of paper in a paper machine containing a dilution head comprising: i) introducing one or more retention components into the main aqueous flow containing cellulosic fibers, and feeding the flow main aqueous obtained to the dilution head; ii) introducing cationic organic polymer of low molecular weight having a weighted average molecular weight of up to 5,000,000 in an aqueous dilution flow and feeding the aqueous dilution flow obtained to the dilution head; iii) mixing the main aqueous flow obtained with the aqueous dilution flow obtained in the head to form a resulting aqueous flow; and iv) eject the resulting aqueous flow on a wire mesh and remove water from the resulting aqueous flow to form a paper weft. This also refers to a process for the introduction of paper from an aqueous suspension containing cellulosic fibers, and optionally fillers, which comprises introducing one or more retention components into the suspension, followed by the introduction into the suspension of a Low molecular weight cationic organic polymer having a weighted average molecular weight of up to 5,000,000, and then forming and draining the suspension on a wire mesh.
