Abstract
El presente se refiere a un método para codificar imágenes, en el que las imágenes codificadas primarias e imágenes codificadas redundantes de imágenes codificadas primarias son formadas, comprendiendo cada imagen codificada primaria esencialmente la misma información de imagen que la respectiva imagen codificada redundante. Por lo menos una de las imágenes codificadas redundantes comprende información de imagen que corresponde a solo una parte de la información de imagen de la respectiva imagen codificada primaria. El presente se refiere también a un sistema, codificador, decodificador, un dispositivo de transmisión, un dispositivo de recepción, un programa de software, un medio de almacenamiento y a un flujo de bits.
