Abstract

Un método para predecir una respuesta a un régimen quimioterapéutico basado en la pérdida de heterocigosidad en el lugar de timidilato en el tejido de cáncer, dicho método comprende: a) determinar el genotipo de tejido normal para timidilato sintasa de un paciente; b) determinar el genotipo de tejido normal con el genotipo de tejido de cáncer; c) comparar el genotipo de tejido normal con el genotipo de tejido de cáncer; d) determinar si ha ocurrido una pérdida de heterocigosidad en el lugar de timidilato sintasa en el tejido de tumor basado en la comparación del paso c); y e) predecir una respuesta al régimen quimioterapéutico basado en la pérdida de heterocigosidad en la pérdida de heterocigosidad en la muestra de tumor.
