Abstract

Un método y aparato para soportar funciones de Modulación y Codificación Adaptativas (AM&C) y de Solicitud de Repetición Híbrida Automática (H-ARQ) en un sistema celular que incluye al menos una unidad inalámbrica de transmisión/recepción (WTRU) y un Nodo B. Una senal es recibida en la WTRU que indica una necesidad para la senalización de control AM&C y H-ARQ. Un canal de transporte (TrCh) de senalización de control AM&C y H-ARQ es dinámicamente asignado informando un procedimiento de selección de formato de transporte de la necesidad de una senalización de control AM&C y H-ARQ. El formato de transporte se selecciona para intervalos de tiempo de transmisión (TTI) requeridos que asignan combinaciones de formato de transporte (TFCs) para establecer el canal de transporte de senalización de control AM&C y H-ARQ.
