Abstract

La presente se refiere a un aparato para la colocación discreta registrada de sustancias químicas. El aparato tiene i) al menos una válvula solenoide, la válvula incluye un orificio; ii) al menos una fuente de sustancias químicas, dicha fuente de sustancias químicas está en comunicación con por lo menos una válvula, y es capaz de comunicar por lo menos una sustancia química a por lo menos una válvula solenoide; y iii) un elemento de calentamiento; en donde el elemento de calentamiento está ubicado cerca de al menos una sustancia química, y en donde el elemento de calentamiento permite que el aparato procese materiales que cambian de fase. Una segunda realización de la presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de impresión por chorro de tinta para la colocación registrada de líquidos que cambian de fase. La presente también se refiere a un método para colocar una o más sustancias químicas en una manera discreta y registrada. La presente también se refiere a un material que tiene características de manejo de fluido y generalmente incluye un sustrato que tiene al menos una primera superficie, y una o más sustancias químicas que se aplican a la primera superficie del sustrato en gotas discretas, en donde una gota, o más, forman dominios discretos sobre el sustrato. Las sustancias químicas aplicadas al sustrato pueden penetrar el sustrato en grados variables en donde tales grados variables de penetración de las sustancias químicas producen materiales con diversas topografías. La topografía o topografías pueden crear barreras al fluido, separación de la piel, o de otro modo beneficios para la salud de la piel. Una segunda realización de un material de la invención se refiere a un artículo absorbente al que se le aplica uno o más materiales que cambian de fase. Una tercera realización de un material de la invención se refiere a un compuesto que incluye un sustrato y una sustancia química, o más, en donde las sustancias químicas se aplican al sustrato de manera de producir un sustrato que tiene puntos de unión colocados y registros discretamente.
