Abstract
Un aparato para acondicionar aire, caracterizado porque comprende: una cantidad de desecante líquido; una sección deshumidificadora, en la cual el aire a ser acondicionado es puesto en contacto con una primera porción del desecante líquido; una sección regeneradora, en la cual el aire externo es puesto en contacto con una segunda porción del desecante líquido; y un sistema de refrigeración que tiene un primer intercambiador de calor asociado con la primera porción del desecante líquido y un segundo intercambiador de calor asociado con la segunda porción del desecante líquido y un tercer intercambiador de calor que no entra en contacto con el desecante líquido. Un aparato para acondicionar aire comprende una bomba de calor para transferir energía de desecante relativamente frío para calentar el desecante durante la regeneración, además del calor suministrado desde el escape o exhaustación de la porción acondicionadora de aire del sistema. Esto da como resultado un sistema en el cual el acondicionador de aire no tiene que sobreenfriar el aire para remover humedad y el deshumidificador no calienta el aire para remover humedad.
