Abstract

Un acoplador graduable tiene un grupo de rotores magnéticos con magnetos permanentes en un primer eje, separados por entrehierros desde los rotores de conductor no ferroso montados en un segundo eje presentado por un grupo de rotores conductores. En una forma, el primero y segundo ejes están acoplados entre sí en un cojinete esférico que permite la rotacion relativa entre los ejes, pero eso limita el movimiento lateral relativo entre los ejes. En formas similares u otras distintas, el grupo de rotores magnéticos están acoplados entre sí mediante articulaciones rotativas y/o uno de los rotores magnéticos está acoplado a la parte externa de un cubo para moverse axialmente a lo largo del primer eje.
