Abstract

Una unidad de corte (2) para una afeitadora de seguridad posee un conjunto de hojas flexibles (5) el cual comprende una pluralidad de hojas (16) con bordes cortantes paralelos (17), montadas sobre una estructura de soporte deformable por resiliencia (4) que incluye varios elementos elásticos (12) dispuestos a lo largo de la unidad de corte (2) para oponerse a la deformacion local de la unidad de corte (2) bajo las fuerzas de la afeitada impuestas en las regiones donde los elementos elásticos (12) actuan. La unidad de corte es capaz de seguir fielmente las ondulaciones de la piel debido a la deformacion variable de la estructura de soporte (4) a lo largo de la misma. En una realizacion, la estructura de soporte (4) es una pieza moldeada de material flexible por resiliencia e incluye un cuadro superior (6) sobre el cual se monta el conjunto de hojas (5), un sub-cuadro (7) y una base (8), el cuadro superior (6) y el sub-cuadro (7) están conectados entre sí mediante una articulacion activa (9) y el sub-cuadro (7) y la base (8) están conectados por otra articulacion activa (10) de manera que la estructura de soporte tenga forma de Z en seccion transversal. La estructura de soporte (4) incluye dos series de almas paralelas (12, 14) uniformemente separadas a lo largo de la unidad de corte, las almas (12) de una de las series sirven como elásticos que actuan entre el cuadro superior (6) y el sub-cuadro (7) en tanto las almas (14) de la otra serie actuan como elásticos entre el sub-cuadro y la base, por medio de lo cual las almas (12, 14) se oponen a la deformacion de la estructura de soporte bajo las fuerzas de la afeitada.
