Abstract

Se proporciona un método y aparato para comunicaciones. El método incluye dirigir una luz al ojo de un usuario; medir el reflejo de la luz dirigida al ojo del usuario; determinar si el ojo del usuario está abierto o cerrado en base a los resultados de la medicion de reflejo de la luz dirigida al ojo del usuario y activar una alarma cuando el ojo del usuario está cerrado durante un período de tiempo predeterminado. El aparato incluye: un armazon de anteojo montado en la cabeza; una fuente de luz soportada por el armazon y posicionada en el armazon de modo que la fuente de luz puede enviar un rayo de luz a un ojo del usuario; un detector de luz soportado por el armazon y posicionado en el armazon para detectar un reflejo del rayo de luz enviado al ojo del usuario por la fuente de luz; un parlante de audio soportado por el armazon; y un microprocesador soportado por el armazon en el que el microprocesador está adaptado para generar una senal de alarma cuando el detector de luz sensa que el ojo del usuario ha estado cerrado durante un período de tiempo predeterminado.
