Abstract
Un sistema de monitoreo de agua y un método de monitoreo de agua para un cable de alta tension (CA) incluyendo un conductor (4) y una pantalla (2) que rodea al conductor. Por lo menos un primer alambre sensor de agua (11) se extiende en la pantalla (2) entre el inicio del cable (CB) y el extremo final del cable (CE) y por lo menos un segundo alambre (12) está conectado con el primer alambre (11) en el extremo final del cable para formar un circuito cerrado. Se provee una primera unidad de conmutacion (3) entre el inicio del cable (CB) y el circuito de medicion (MC). Una unidad de control (CU) controla la primera unidad de conmutacion (3) durante un primer intervalo de tiempo predeterminado en un primer estado de conmutacion en donde el alambre sensor de agua (11) y el segundo alambre (12) están conectados al potencial de pantalla. En un segundo intervalo de tiempo predeterminado siguiente, la unidad de control (CU) controla a la primera unidad de conmutacion (3) en un segundo estado de conmutacion en donde el alambre sensor de agua (11) y el segundo alambre (12) están desconectados del potencial de pantalla. El circuito de medicion (MC) realiza una medicion de la intrusion de agua realizando mediciones de resistencia o aislamiento, es decir, mediciones de caída de tension, en el segundo intervalo de tiempo predeterminado. Preferentemente, el primer intervalo de tiempo predeterminado es mucho más prolongado, es decir, 30 a 60 minutos, que el segundo intervalo de tiempo, por ej. 1 a 2 minutos.
