Abstract

Un dispositivo de medicion de caudal y método para proporcionar telemetría en tiempo real referente a una corriente de flujo que tiene multiplescomponentes. El dispositivo de medicion (100) incluye un caudalímetro volumétrico o un caudalímetro de mas a (102) en combinacion con un analizador de gas (110)que proporciona telemetría referente a los componentes de una corriente de flujo de gas natural. Un interpretador y controlador (112) analiza esta informaciony proporciona salida en tiempo real que corresponde a la entalpía de combustion para la corriente de gas. Esta salida es utilizada para ajustar o estrangularla corriente de flujo de gas para el fin de administrar la corriente de flujo de acuerdo a un parámetro preseleccionado, que está re lacionado con lascondiciones operativas deseadas para un dispositivo de combustion (108) que incluye una caldera o un motor.
