Abstract

Una composicion de aceite lubricante que comprende una cantidad principal de un aceite de viscosidad lubricante y una cantidad menor, soluble en aceite odispersable en aceite, de (a) un compuesto de organomolibdeno trinuclear, (b) un compuesto de az ufre, (c) un antioxidante fenolico y (d) un antioxidanteamínico, tal que el compuesto de azufre (b) sea un hidrocarbil éster o ácido tiodicarboxílico; y un método para mejorar la estabilidad de oxidacion de unacomposicion de aceites lubricantes. Las composiciones que comprenden los ingredientes de la presente invencion muestran una estabilidad de oxidacion por lejossuperior cuando se las comparan con aquellas que no contienen la combinacion de antioxidantes.
