Se describen moléculas aisladas de cácido nucleico, llamadas moléculas de ácido nucleico TCMRP, que codifican TCMRPs (proteínas relacionadas con elmetabolismo de tocoferoles y carotenoideos) novedosas tomadas, por ejemplo de la physcomitrella patens. La invencion provee también moléculas de ácido nucleicoantisentido, vectores de expresion recombinantes que contienen moléculas de ácido nucleico TCMRP y células hospedantes en las cuales se han introducido losvectores de expresion.
