Abstract
Se describe un método y un aparato para aplicar un enlace FH de banda angosta para comunicaciones de baja y media velocidad, y un canal estacionario debanda ancha para comunicaciones de alta velocidad (HS). Un amo y uno o más esclavos que comparten el mismo enlace FH pueden formar una picorred. El amo y losesclavos pueden realizar saltos de frecuencia sincronicamente de acuerdo a una secuencia pseudoaleatoria de saltos de frecuencia. Un amo puede controlartráfico en el enlace FH. Se puede establecer un enlace HS entre un amo y uno o más esclavos o entre dos esclavos. Una banda apropiada del espectro de radio esseleccionada adaptativamente basándose en las más bajas mediciones RSSI tanto en el amo como en el esclavo para establecer un enlaceHS sin utilizar un esquemade saltos de frecuencia. Un amo comparte su tiempo entre el esclavo HS sobre el enlace HS y los esclavos que permanecen en el enlace FH usando multiplexacionpor Division de Tiempo. Si el enlace HS usa una parte de la bandasobre la cual la picorred realiza saltos de frecuencia, el amo controla el tráfico de maneraque el enlace HS nunca sea visitado por el enlace FH. Si el enlace HS y el enlace FH no se superponen, luego no se requiere evitar los saltos de frecuencia. Elpar de esclavos HS permanece en contacto con el amo por medio de una senal de radiobaliza usada en el enlace FH. Periodicamente, los esclavos HS interrumpenlas comunicaciones HS para escuchar el enlace FH. El protocolo de radiobaliza incluye a esclavos que retornan del enlace HS al canal de la picorred.
