Se describe una composicion sinergística y un método para controlar el crecimiento biologico en fluidos industriales, en donde la composicion comprendehipobromito de sodio estabilizado y al menos un compuesto seleccionado del grupo que consiste deox ido de cocoalquildimetilamina, n-cocoalqultrimetilendiamina, cloruro de tetraalquilfosfonio, ácido 7-oxabiciclo[2.2.1]heptan-2,3-dicarboxílico y 4,5-dicloro-2-n-octil-4-isotiazolin-3-ona.A synergistic composition and a method for controlling the biological growth in industrial fluids are described, wherein the composition comprises stabilized sodium hypobromite and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of deoxydo of cocoalkyl dimethylamine, n-cocoalqultrimethylenediamine, tetraalkylphosphonium chloride, acid 7 -oxabicyclo [2.2.1] heptan-2,3-dicarboxylic and 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one.
