Abstract
Método para la reduccion directa de hierro mineral dentro de un horno de reduccion vertical del tipo con carga gravitacional, en donde el gas de reduccionfluye a contraflujo con respecto al material introducido dentro del horno, que comprende lassig uientes etapas: el hierro mineral es alimentado desde arribadentro del horno (10), una mezcla de gas a alta temperatura consistente de gas de reduccion basado en H2 y CO es inyectado y se remueve el mineral reducidoproveniente del horno (10), lamezc la de gas se introduce en al menos dos zonas (12, 14) del horno (10) dispuestas una sobre la otra de modo tal de lograr, enuna forma controlada, una primera etapa de precalentamiento y prereduccion en la parte superior (12) del horno (10) y unasegun da etapa de reduccion en laparte inferior (14) del horno (10). Aparato para la reduccion directa de hierro mineral que comprende un horno de reduccion vertical (10) del tipo con cargagravitacional para lograr en el mismo las reacciones dereduccion d el hierro mineral, medios (11) para alimentar el hierro mineral dentro del horno (10) desdearriba, medios para levantar la temperatura del gas de reduccion, medios mezcladores adecuados para obtener una mezcla del gas de reduccion con almenos unhidr ocarburo, medios para inyectar la mezcla de gas a alta temperatura, y medios (15) para remover el mineral reducido de la parte inferior del horno (10), elhorno está provisto de al menos dos zonas (12, 14) dispuestas en forma distanciadaverticalmente , en cada una de las cuales ha de ser adecuadamente introducidauna mezcla de gas a alta temperatura de modo de lograr las reacciones de reduccion en una forma controlada.
