Abstract

Se describe el uso de moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifican serina proteasas similares a subtilisina y la modulacion de los genes correspondientespara la produccion de plantas transgénicas con características estomáticas modificadas. Se proveen moléculas de ADN recombinantes que comprendentales moléculas de ácido nucleico y complementos de las mismas; en donde dichas molécula(s) de ácido nucleico están operatoriamente vinculadas aelementos reguladores que permiten la expresion de la molécula(s) de ácido nucleico en plantas. También se proveen vectores que comprenden dichasmoléculas de ADN recombinante como también células vegetales, tejidos vegetales y plantas transformadas con los mismos. Además, se describe el uso de lasmoléculas deácido nucleico mencionadas anteriormente, moléculas de ADN recombinantes y vectores en cultivo de células y tejidos vegetales, cultivo deplantas y/o agricultura, en particular para la produccion de plantas con fenotipos mejorados.The use of nucleic acid molecules encoding serine proteases similar to subtilisin and the modulation of the corresponding genes for the production of transgenic plants with modified stomatic characteristics are described.
